Helldivers 2 for the PS5 and PC is now out, and we've enlisted three IGN staff members to take on the disgusting bug like Terminids, and the Terminator-esque Automatons, in this explosive, intense and bloody 18 minutes of 4K 60FPS gameplay - all captured with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.
What’s unique about the story of Helldivers 2 is that it’s driven by the player community. Planning for that is a huge challenge – we have what we think will happen, but we ultimately can’t control what the players do. Which as a player I find cool, but as a writer I find really scary.
IGN gave the original game a nove/10, saying it "isn’t the prettiest game you can play on PS4, PS3 or Vita, but Helldivers is one of the most exhilarating" and that it was "brutal, focused, and mechanically rich."
Super Credits can be bought, but you'll find plenty while you're exploring, and they can be unlocked in the Warbonds progression.

So the jumping dive was already implemented in the previous game, but I have found that I’ve been dying more to using the dive than just actually keeping my distance from the enemies.
Since Helldivers 2 lets you play with up to four players, many are curious if the game scales combat difficulty up or down depending on how many you have in your squad.
Why doesn’t this get tired really quickly? Because Arrowhead has concentrated all its design attention on making every facet of the experience minutely enjoyable. The guns feel chunky, varied and impactful, every direct hit is accompanied by a tidal wave of insect goo or tangled metal, the sounds of missile strikes and napalm blasts are like fiery symphonies of destruction. This is a game that truly understands the value of intense, disproportionate feedback.

And with friendly fire always on and bad guys far outnumbering my ragtag crew of four, dying at some point or another felt like a certainty. This was especially true when Helldivers 2 Gameplay we attempted to complete a level on the hardest difficulty and were utterly grinded to a pulp, which was hilarious and a complete blast even in humbling defeat. I’m really looking forward to seeing if I can actually best one of these levels once my character’s been properly leveled.
